Matcha Green Tea Powder Review

I'll be honest... I am not a huge fan of green tea, but I am a HUGE fan of cookies.  So when I found out about Matcha Green Tea Powder I was super excited. 

Matcha Green Tea Powder helps with all day energy and focus and is a calorie burning booster!

You can use this product for Lattes, Smoothies or baking!
Since I'm a lover of all things cookies I made Matcha Green Tea Powder Cookies. I actually found the recipe here.


Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 TBSP. Matcha Green Tea Powder
1 TBSP. Vanilla Flavor
1 egg
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt



Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375.
2. In a bowl mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.  Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl add butter, powdered sugar , matcha powder, and flavor.  Mix on medium speed until well combined and smooth. 

4. Turn mixer to low and add the egg.  Mix until incorporated. 
5.  On low speed, slowly add the ingredients until well combined.  


6. Place cookies 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake for 11 minutes.  



I can't really describe the flavor but they are much better than expected!  The smell while baking them wasn't the best but I was very pleasantly surprised when they were finished!

  1. Mmmmm...I love green tea. I've never tried green tea cookies though. I'm sure they're delicious!
