Five on Friday

Happy GOOD Friday All.

Here are my Five on Friday.

One. Nannan
My sweet Nannan had a birthday earlier this month and I failed to post it on the blog.  My Nannan is very important to me.  I am blessed to have her in my life.  I am very thankful that Nicklas gets to have her in his life too!  Happy Belated Birthday Nannan.

Two. Family Time
I did not post a Five on Friday last week for 2 reasons... one is because I got NO feedback on my Five on Friday from 2 weeks ago ( you can see here if interested ) so I decided to take a break and the second reason is because Jamie and I both had the day off and I didn't want to waste family time writing my Five on Friday.  I decided to put away the computer and my cell phone and to truly enjoy the time with my family!

Three. Life Change
I am going to brag on myself for just a moment.  I thought I had come to a stopping point loosing weight so I ordered some new size 10 pants.  Well, when they arrived and I tried them on... they were HUGE!!!  I am now a comfortable size 8!  I am so proud!!

Four. Easter for Nicklas
I am really looking forward to Easter with Nicklas.  He is not old enough to understand the true meaning yet but I am looking forward to watching him go threw his Easter basket, 'hunt' eggs, and take part in all types of Easter activities.  We have 2 full days of Easter get-together lined up and I can't wait.  Yes, we are all going to be exhausted but it will be worth it!!  I love viewing things from Nicks point of view and seeing it like its the first time!

Five. Easter for me
When Nicklas is old enough to understand, we will teach him the true meaning of Easter.  That God sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins.  That on the third day after He died on the cross, He rose from the dead.  Jesus died so that we may have eternal life and forgiveness for our sins.  I am a sinner, I mess up, but Jesus died so that I can repent and have forgiveness.  That is the meaning of Easter, and that is what we will teach Nicklas!
