Five on Friday

Happy Friday All.

I am linking up with Natasha from hellohappiness for the Five on Friday!

Here are my favorite things for this Friday.

One. Baked Chicken Chimichanga

This is my favorite low carb recipe!!  Its full of cheese and so easy to make.  I can usually whip it up and have it in the oven within 15 minutes!!  I'm all about easy these days... after working all day then going home to get Nicklas ready for the next day is exhausting!!

Two. Melissa and Doug
A few weeks ago I posted about us giving Nicklas a Melisaa and Doug puzzle that made sounds.  We still love it!  I love toys that make Nicklas explore his imagination and that is exactly what they do.  Their products are also made extremely well!!  Check them out here Melissa and Doug

Three.Quality Time
I saw the quote below on Facebook recently and it caused me to have anxiety.  Jamie and I are not having any more children so I am really trying to soak all of Nicklas in.  I am doing my best not to rush, not to worry if so and so's child is doing something before Nicklas does, and to really pay attention to how he sees the world.  At this age everything is so new to him and it amazes me to watch his little eyes explore it all.  To see the world threw a childs eyes is so refreshing.

Four.  Brandi Glanville "Drinking & Dating"
I purchased Brandi Glanville's new book "Drinking & Dating" today and I can not wait to dig in!!I LOVED her first book "Drinking and Tweeting".  I just love how open and honest she is!! And she is soo funny!  But what I like most about her is that her boys are the most important thing to her and she will always put their well being first.

Five. Ian Somerhalder
Hello... my name is Jamie... I am 30 years old.... and am addicted to The Vampire Diaries.  One of the main things that caused my addiction is Mr. Ian Somerhalder.  On Fridays when Nicklas takes his nap and I SHOULD be doing laundry, vacuuming, or some other mom duty... I am in my pj's having my weekly date with Ian!!  I mean come on... can you really blame me?!?!

  2. I haven't ever watched Vampire Diaries, but Scandal is my guilty pleasure so I know what you mean by squeezing some "me" time in at naps, etc. Also, thanks for the book recommendation. I am always looking for a good book to read! I found your blog through Five on Friday and look forward to following along! :) Lana
